Where you can find her: Scenes of Home, will display the affections and interactions of women in spaces in the city of Detroit by photographer, curator and 2019 Talking Doll Residency Recipient, Laura D. Gibson. Laura desects ways of maneuvering the city as native Detroiter and a woman of color and through photography and video, documents and examines the notions of intimacy in reflecting on space and the idea of home.
